World City List .com (WCL) provides local pages for cities and towns around the world. This statement explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used. By using the site, you agree to this Privacy Statement.

2. Information You Give Us

City Page applications: your name, address, phone numbers, email, date of birth, references and your applicant statement. This is used only to review your application and contact you.

Business listings and ads: business name, address, phone, website, description and pictures you submit. This information is meant to be shown publicly on the city page.

Chat, feedback, surveys and newsletter sign-ups: the messages, answers or email address you choose to send.

3. Information Collected Automatically

We count page visits and app installs so we can see how the site is used. Your browser may also save your preferences on your own device, such as your chosen language, dark mode, and your favorite cities. Visitors do not need an account to use the site.

4. How We Use Information

To run and improve the site, show local listings, answer chats and questions, process City Page and ad billing, and contact applicants and advertisers. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Outside Services

The site uses outside services to show maps and places (OpenStreetMap), weather, news, translation, videos and payments (such as PayPal, Venmo or Cash App). When you use those features, those services may receive information under their own privacy policies.

6. City and Country Admins

Each City Page is run by its own admin, who can see chats and content for their city. Admins are independent and must follow the WCL Rules & Regulations, including treating visitor information with respect.

7. Children

The site is family friendly, but it is not meant to collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

8. Your Choices

You can ask us to correct or remove information you have given us. You can clear the information saved in your browser at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

9. Changes and Legal Matters

We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time; continued use of the site means you accept the changes. All legal matters for this site are in the jurisdiction of the State of Nebraska, County of Sarpy, City of Bellevue.
